Poured into a tulip from a March batch this one offers a deep tangerine pour with excellent collar. Fruit forward guava nose and peachy apricot. Simple apricot forward first sip. Not very complex. Malt finish with slight aftertaste. Ok.

473 ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase for around $3.75 CDN. Listed at 6.5%. Canned March 7, 2022.
Appearance - Hazy dark yellowy golden brew with a tremendous three finger head. Frothy at the top and long lasting. Plenty of hazy and turbidty.
Smell - Orchard fruit abounds, pears and peaches in equal amounts with a subtle context of guava or something in the background. Not the biggest nose, but the aromatics are quite nice.
Taste - A little orchard fruit (pear), a little juicy citrus (pineapple and orange), lacking the depth of aroma and sweetness promised. Bready malts back all of that up.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, modest carbonation and a fairly juicy feel.
Overall - A fine IPA, maybe even a good one, but not quite what I was hoping for after the start was quite inspired.

Bomber purchased at the brewery; no packaging information, served barely chilled.
Pours a hazy marigold colour, crowned at first with an inch of puffy, foamy white head that seeps off within several minutes' time. It leaves behind a full curtain of lovely lacing as it is reduced to a creamy collar and filmy cap - looks fantastic to me. The glass smells like orchard fruit - apple, apricot, pear, that sort of thing - mixed with understated suggestions of citrus, canned pineapple and bready malts.
Fairly light for an IPA, but those double dry hop flavours sure are appealing - there's doughy, malty sweetness backed by stone fruit flavours that include plum, apricot and peach; hints of pineapple, lemon and orange peel are not far behind. Finishes with a touch of herbal, spicy hops; minimal bitterness, with doughy malt, tea leaf and pineapple/plum fruitiness carrying on into the aftertaste. Light-medium in body, with gently spritzy carbonation that adds a little bit of a bite to this brew's smooth, fairly soft mouthfeel. Excellent drinkability - I polished this bomber off more quickly than most, and was enjoying it from start to finish.
Final Grade: 3.83, a B+. Party Sharks is a pretty mellow IPA - mellow and fruity, without much in the way of hop bitterness, but the malts have a fairly good showing - almost coming off like a dry hopped blonde ale at times. I liked this beer a fair bit, but I wouldn't say I *like* liked it - you can probably find better low IBU IPAs out there these days, but this is a worthy one that gets an unequivocal thumbs up from me. They run out of these 'tiny batch' beers quickly, but if this one is brought back I'd give it another go.
