From The Winter Beer Games pack. Rebranded as a Juicy IPA. Canned September 6, 2024. Listed at 5% ABV. Rated as an IPA.
Appearance - Hazy pale straw colored beer with a couple of fingers of loose and fizzy foam. Plenty of haze.
Smell - Light citrus aroma with some tangerine and passionfruit leading the way. Light nose.
Taste - Light citrusy IPA. Low bitterness. Some elements of tangerine. Flavor fades quick.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, quite fizzy, I don't know if It would call this juicy. It's not dry either on the finish, but just kind of middle of the road.
Overall - Very middle of the road beer; it's fine and doesn't seem out of place in a mixed pack, but not a beer I'd be likely to go back to.

473 mL can from the brewery, the last of four in their "Winter Danger Sports Pack". Dated Dec 1 2022 and served barely chilled.
Pours inky black with crimson red highlights; situated atop is nearly two fingers of foamy tan-coloured head that dissipates within five minutes or so. Multiple rings of sticky, arcing lace cling to the glass, with a creamy collar and frothy, sudsy cap living on - it's an attractive stout, no two ways about that. Malt-forward aroma of roasted grains, dark fruits and vanilla, with subtle cherry, chocolate and treacle.
A fairly solid flavoured stout: the cherry and vanilla flavours are about right IMO, i.e. hard to miss but not overused. Chocolate, toasted bread, dark fruits and cherry at the forefront, with roasted grains, cocoa, vanilla, molasses and hints of coffee rounding out the tail end. The aftertaste is a little on the sweet side; hardly unusual for a vanilla stout. Medium in body, with low carbonation that gently prickles the tongue; feels smooth, but gives you the sticky lips, and the 7.5% becomes a noticeable factor over the course of the glass.
Final Grade: 3.78, a B+. Amusing name aside, I had reservations about Incredible Athletes, as neither vanilla nor cherry stouts tend to be big hits for this beer geek. Luckily, this is an outlier compared to the other three brews in this pack - all of which were also flavoured porters or stouts, but leaned more heavily on said flavours. The cherry/vanilla combo seems less heavy-handed - either a disappointment or a relief, depending on your preferences. A little goes a long way with vanilla, so I liked this stout more than I was expecting to... not that it's anything to search high and low for, but it might be the best beer in this pack.
