473 mL can from the brewery; no canning date and served barely chilled. Brewed with Cryo Pop, a proprietary pelletized hop blend.

Pours a muddy mustard yellow colour, topped with two fingers of soapy, big bubbled white head that fades within two minutes or so. A messy coat of lace is splattered about behind, with a wide, frothy collar living on - looks fine so far. Notes of peach, grapefruit, pineapple candy and strawberry on the nose, with hints of grapefruit, wheat and an earthy, hop note. Flintstone chewable vitamins and lemongrass also come to mind.

Same goes for the fruity flavour profile: I'm getting pineapple, mango, peach and honeydew melon, backed by a mildly syrupy background sweetness. Maybe a hint of strawberry and wheat bread, with more stone/tropical fruit lingering into an aftertaste of sweet fruit and chalky vitamin sweetness. Medium in body, with low carbonation that results in a limp, relatively slick mouthfeel; it clings to the tongue with each sip, and its drinkability suffers - one of those beers that starts off strong, but peters out quickly.

Final Grade: 3.72, a B grade. I wouldn't say that there's Nothing to See Here, but I'm not naming the beers, am I? The Cryo Pop does taste good enough on its own to constitute a serviceable brew, but I feel like it would be better off spent alongside other hops in a DIPA. All things considered, this is pretty unique and tasty for a random one-off IPA, a category that the Fools have come to specialize in. Try it if you're in a position to do so.
