At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From their Summer Beer League 6-pack at the University Ave. West LCBO in nearby downtown Windsor. Canned May 7/24. My 9th beer from the Sarnia, Ontario brewery, and 5th for 2025. With Gracie the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO, included in Refined Fool's Beer League summer mix pack. Dated Apr 24 2024 and served slightly chilled. These notes were taken in late summer 2024.
Pours a clear pale straw yellow colour, scaring up an inch of loose, bubbly white head that collapses within a minute or two. A thin collar is the only remnant, save for a few wisps of film on the surface. Grainy aroma with suggestions of grassy hops.
Very plain flavour, even as light lagers go. Grains and doughy sweetness for the most part, with hints of grassy hops and red apples; finishes malty before fading to off-dry in the aftertaste. Light in body, with middling carbonation that gently prickles the tongue; the mouthfeel is very smooth, and less thin than expected given the style. Tossing back a few of these in a row would be no problem whatsoever.

Another can from another mixed pack; dated Mar 12 2025. Looking at the notes from last time, I don't see anything I'd change. Riding Around In Tiny Cars With My Friends is your run of the mill craft light lager. It's better than the macro alternatives, but I'm not sure the marginal bump in quality justifies the price differential. I think I'd prefer this brewery's Ontario Craft Lager.
Final Grade: 3.47, a B-.
