At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, from their Summer Beer League boxset from my favourite LCBO at The Roundhouse Centre in nearby Windsor. My third beer from the Sarnia, ON brewery.

473 mL can from the LCBO, included in Refined Fool's Beer League summer mix pack. Dated Apr 23 2024 and served barely chilled.
Pours foggy yellow, generating nearly a finger of bubbly white head that lasts for ninety seconds or so. Its remnants include a sickly thin collar surrounding an islet of film in the center; looks normal for a fruited sour. Passion fruit and lemon yogurt on the nose, with hints of gritty wheat and orchard fruit.
It's palatable, but also hopelessly one dimensional - there's a touch of grainy, wheaty malts in the background, but beyond that I'm mostly just getting passion fruit. The fruitiness is not intense - I might even call it restrained, if there'd been anything else going on to distract from it. Finishes with passion fruit and sweet apple flavours that dissipate into a mildly fruity aftertaste. Relatively light bodied, with moderate carbonation that adds some spritz to this brew's smooth mouthfeel. Quite drinkable and even a little refreshing - not a bad choice in sweaty summer weather.
Final Grade: 3.6, a B grade. I Guess I'll Play This Sport Now ain't half bad. The "passionfruit tart ale" tagline sort of leads you into assuming that it's a kettle sour, when it's really just a wheat ale with passion fruit. The addition of that ingredient does make it a little tart, sure, but mostly just fruity and a little sweet - it's inoffensive and approachable, not sour at all. It isn't a beer I really feel the need to drink again, but if you have an appreciation for fruity wheat ales then this might be worth your while.

Label says Passionfruit Tart Ale and I was expecting a sour beer. Much to my pleasant surprise, not a sour at all, not even very tart.
