At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From their IPA Fun Box 10 at my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned February 5/25. My 19th beer from the Sarnia, Ontario brewery, and 9th for 2026. With Sundae the cat's permission, of course...

473ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase.
Appearance - Yellowy gold brew with a huge plume of three plus fingers of white head. Good staying power. A few bits of loose sediment into the glass. Quite hazy.
Smell - Fruit punch esque with a nice medley of some citrus with orange leading the way and some peach as well.
Taste - Orange and peach some through with some additional bitterness at the end. Fruitiness is lacking intensity and then a bit of bitter for bitterness' sake at the end. Kind of wheat malt backbone.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, with crisp and high levels of carbonation and a rather dry conclusion.
Overall - Good IPA that I wish leaned into the peach just a bit more and the dryness is quite stark. With that said definitely worth a try.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Nov 18 2024 and served barely chilled. Less than a week old, making this one of the freshest beers I've ever bought at an LCBO.
Pours a foggy golden-yellow colour, producing an inch of soapy, frothy white head that lasts for two minutes, tops. A tight collar lives on, with a few scattered strands of stringy lace scattered about in the process - looks normal so far. The aroma is a bit muted - I'm getting grainy, doughy malts and orchard fruits, with hints of pine forest and citrus peel. Nothing to get excited about yet.
It's a serviceable westerly IPA, featuring a sturdy backbone of grainy, bready malts with just a touch of caramel sweetness. There's also grapefruit, orange and some faint stone fruit, finishing with pine, berries and earthy, pithy hops; middling bitterness for the style and strength. Medium in body, with assertive carbonation that adds some prickliness to this brew's smooth mouthfeel. Good quaffability, with no sign of that 6.8% - this one's so unassuming that it might actually be dangerously drinkable.
Final Grade: 3.73, a B grade. Right off the bat, this beer reminded me of Antique Peepshow: one of this brewery's 'Original Six' recipes that has been available off and on since their opening day. They're definitely not the same beer - Big Sexy is more citrusy and higher in abv - I'm just saying, they kind of give me similar vibes. Easy drinking, well-integrated alcohol, generally old-school in its sensibilities, but still a mixed bag, in that it's not anything to write home about. Not one of the Fools' better IPAs of 2024, but I think West Coast-loving hopheads can still consider it worth a shot.
