This frisky 5.6% IPA is best consumed after midnight while watching channel 39 in a dimly lit basement. A slightly hazy, easy drinking beer with a nicely balanced bitterness that showcases some lively citrus and lemon notes. 30 IBU
Hops: Lemondrop, Centennial, Loral & Citra Lupomax

473 mL can from the brewery; no canning date. Served barely chilled.
Pours a hazy pale golden colour, stirring up more than an inch of soapy, foamy white head that steadily drops off. Three or four minutes later, I'm left with a tight collar and sudsy cap, with plenty of attractive lace clinging to the glass - lookin' good. Highly floral, slightly herbaceous aroma with plenty of lemon, as well as hints of melon, passion fruit, butterscotch and wheaty malts.
The flavours are alright - there's a cantaloupe sweetness at the forefront, with notes of lemon, tea leaves and overripe plum by mid-sip. Concludes with herbal, floral, somewhat peppery hops at the finish; moderately bitter with some acidity. Medium in body, with a smooth, slightly juicy mouthfeel and relatively soft carbonation. Acceptable drinkability for 5.6% - it comes off a little stronger than that, but no biggie.
Final Grade: 3.7, a B grade. While I'd never admit it publically, I enjoy Adult Films. Its lemon, melon and herbal hop flavours are not exactly novel, but they get the job done - it's sort of a hybrid IPA: hazy and juicy like an NEIPA, but with enough of a bitter hop kick to throw that classification into doubt. Pretty good - worth a try I'd say, but not a beer I'd necessarily go searching for more of.
