This IPA is dedicated to our wonderful staff, the people that make this place tick. We wanted to find the perfect way to say 'thank you' for their hard work, dedication, and general awesomeness - the obvious choice was to buy everyone a Kia Sorento but that's kind of Oprah's thing.

So we settled on brewing a beer in honour of our team, emblazoned with everyone's name on the label. We know what you're thinking, "wow this a far greater honour than a mid-sized South Korean suv!". Yes, yes it is.

The beer itself is slightly hazy, pours golden pale, and is just bitter enough to notice. Notes of orange, mango, guava, peach and mixed berries will greet you with each sip. It was brewed as part of our Tiny Batch Series, so make sure you grab some before our staff's grandmothers take it all! 30 IBU

473 mL can from the brewery; no canning date and served barely chilled.

Pours a crystal clear pale golden colour, capped with nearly two fingers of foamy white head. After several minutes, it has eroded entirely; its remnants include a soapy collar and some sparse, patchy lace. Understated aroma of orchard fruits, curuba, lime and orange.

A mellow, flavourful, very approachable session IPA with minimal bitterness; I'm tasting grainy malts interspersed with nectarine, mango, orange and Fuji apples. Hints of floral, dank bitterness crop up late in the sip, leading into a mildly fruity aftertaste that doesn't linger. Light in body, with average carbonation the gives some bite to this session ale's smooth mouthfeel. Outstanding drinkability; I could knock these back all night.

Final Grade: 3.9, a B+. Anyone who has ever had a job that involved interacting with co-workers should be able to relate to the sentiment invoked by Some People Worked Harder Than Others on This One. I liked this session IPA quite a bit, and I think it's better than most of the Fools' previous work in this niche - it might even be better than the Kia, because those junk heaps make Chryslers look reliable. Worth trying if you're in town, and worth including in their next IPA mixed pack.
