Our version of a traditional Grodziskie using our own smoked wheat malt smoked slowly over old oak Zymatore barrel wood and floor malted pilsner malt. It is then heavily hopped with Styrian Goldings & Sterling.

Growler. Pours a murky royal gold color with a very slight head. Not much lace. Smoked aroma along with a sort of Saison-esque background scent. Belgian spice and yeast. Some old-world hops. The flavor is fairly coercive with the smoke. It penetrates all other aspects of the taste. It reminds me of a smoky Saison. Spicy with a bit of grassy hops. Light pepper. I did not like this one all too much. This one was destined to clash with my taste buds. Will try others from this brewery, though.
