Cloudy, dirty amber color. Small but lasting head. Plentiful spots are left behind throughout the tasting.
More sour than "farmhouse". There's a bit of sweetened lemon to the nose. The farmhouse smells are muted. This comes across more like a lambic. Still, it's attractive.
The taste fits the Saison profile with a harsher yeast bite that reminds me of white pepper. The body leans rich and the carbonation is definitely elevated. The aftertaste is very short given the bitter finish. This might be attributed to the dryness of the beer.
