Opaque dark red body, flakey quickly-dissipating shreds of foam. Nose is light sweet malts and a difficult-to-place fruit aromas.
Taste is fairly straight forward, of thick creamy malts with a mild, lasting bitter finish. Perhaps some more fruity elements mixed in, with the sour hascup taking the lead--or perhaps I'm projecting...no, it's there. Sour elements blend in with the hops to create a somewhat mouth-puckering feel at the finish. Creamy mouthfeel combines with hascup sourness and green hops. I was reminded of the taste one gets when crushing grape seeds in the mouth.
Low fizzy carbonation.
