Can: Poured a yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light bitter hops with some citrusy notes. Taste is also a mix of light bitter hops with some citrus notes and a semi-dry finish. Body is light with good carbonation. OK session IPA but nothing overly special.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. Special ordered in a 4-pack with gift glass from The Roundhouse Centre LCBO on Howard Ave. in nearby Windsor. My second beer from the Collingwood, Ontario brewery, and first for 2025.

Pours a thin foam head. Color of a very light gold. Like any IPA, you get a citrous smell of oranges and grapefruit.
Taste is on par any run of the mill IPA that's around 4% ABV. I've had better. I've had worse.
The taste of citrous and orange peel bitterness stays in your mouth for a little while making you take another sip of this average IPA. It's not bad at all. It's also not special. I guess if you want an IPA, well here you go.

An unassuming session IPA. Pours a hazy light gold with a moderate head. Hints of grapefruit on the nose. The flavors are bright and refreshing. Very little malt. A good summer beer.

This appears to be just a rebranded version of Any Day Light IPA.
Bright hazy yellow with a moderate head that settles to a splotchy cap, good lace as you go. Drying mouthfeel, almost alkaline. Lemony, gently bitter hops. Watery finish. Subdued nose and flavour profile, which I suppose you'd expect out of a light beer. Big list of ingredients on the side of the can including four different hops, two-row malts, wheat and oats. You can tell the grains attenuate things, but that's a big list of stuff for something so unassuming. Drinkable, but not super interesting.

473 mL can from the LCBO; packaged Nov 3 2020 and served slightly chilled. Not sure I like this brewery's new labels as much as the older style, which was more distinctive, consistent, and stood out on the shelf a bit more IMO.
Pours a hazy lemon drop yellow, capped with half a finger of loose, frothy white foam that fizzles away within sixty seconds. A tight collar is left surrounding a few patchy islets of film; no lace at first, but there's a bit of deposition as you sip away and the level drops. I'm getting grapefruit, lemon and orange on the nose, with subtler hints of melon and stone fruit becoming more noticeable as the glass warms.
It's not bad - the malt backbone is kind of thin, but that's not unusual for this substyle. Hints of wheaty, grainy sweetness are largely overrun by hoppier flavours of orange, passion fruit, mango and especially grapefruit. Suggestions of berries towards the tail end, with a pithy, bitter finish that carries through into the aftertaste, alongside lingering hints of tropical fruitiness. Light in body, with assertive carbonation and tiny bubbles that continuously brush against the palate with each sip; feels crisp first, then smooth. Fairly refreshing - I might be able to drink a few of these in a row, but I doubt I'd choose to.
Final Grade: 3.75, eking out a B+. Side Launch's Any Day is a decent session IPA, but not a very remarkable one. The name of this beer has me wondering if they're hoping that fans of Founders' All Day IPA will notice this on the shelf and switch over to the Canadian brand, but I don't think they'll get that many converts: All Day is simply a more complete and balanced beer, whereas Any Day is all about that thin 'hop tea' vibe that I commonly find in middling session IPAs. In all fairness, I am not big on light IPAs in the first place - they really need to do something unique or special to grab my attention. This one, like most others, just didn't manage to do so.
