At 100 calories per 355 mL can, this light lager is flavourful and clean with hints of light citrus. While lighter in calories and a sensible ABV of 3.8%, the light Citra Hops deliver refreshingly full flavour. Pours a pale straw colour with a large loose white head. Corny and grainy on the nose. Light in flavour but crispy and refreshing for sure. Nicely carbonated, a great summer lite beer

355 mL can from a four-pack purchased at the LCBO; dated 2022/05/04 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a clear straw yellow colour, capped with half a finger of loose, soapy white head that fizzles within a minute or two. It leaves behind a sudsy collar and filmy cap with some lace deposition; looks normal to me. Mildly fruity on the nose, with suggestions of indeterminate citrus, melon and berries alongside some crackery pale malts - nothing too exciting, but still ahead of most light lagers IMO.
Grainy sweetness at the forefront, with flavours of grapefruit pith, whole wheat bread and melon rind developing soon after. Grassy and herbal towards the finish, but the aftertaste ends up bone dry, practically forcing me to take another sip. Light in body, with aggressive carbonation that remains prickly and crisp right down to the last few gulps - of course, they came sooner than expected, given the small serving size and this brew's extraordinary drinkability.
Final Grade: 3.71, a B grade. Side Launch's Easy Breezy (beautiful) is a rock solid light beer that I have no major problems with. Citra hops contribute to its appealing aroma, and the flavour profile itself is well balanced, nigh on evenly split between pale malts and reserved hop fruitiness & bitterness. $10 per 4 pack ain't cheap, but I can't think of any other low calorie lagers that went down as easily as this one. If you're looking for something along those lines, I'd recommend this.
