750ml bottle, 2017 vintage. New brewery for me.
A: Hazy golden orange, bright with pretty much no head.
S: Lacto and Brett in the form of peachy stone fruit and a general overall fruitiness. Lemony tartness exists as well as the farmhouse-y, earthy vibe as it warms.
T: That Brett is super fruity on this brew, like this tastes as if it was fruited with peaches or apricots (looks like it too from the color). The oak is more subtle than I assumed when I read the bottle, its more of light dryness with only marginal impressions of creamy vanilla character...honeysuckle and lemongrass too. No alcohol characteristics, the lemon-y tartness is a bit puckering but its not overly sour.
MF: Marginally creamy with nice lacto tartness and a quick finish that leads to a lingering dryness, which seems consistent with this style and leads to a nice, light(er) summer-y feeling drinker.
O: Very enjoyable for me, pretty impressive strain of Brett in this one, I really enjoyed the fruitiness for a 6-year-old bottle.

750 mL bottle into a tulip
Copper-tan appearance, low opacity. Nose is of oak, coriander, funk. Flavors follow, but there is a weird phenolic tone at the back of the sip. Might be the suggestion of celery salt the reviewer below me picked up. Finishes relative dry and short.
This was from the private stash from a local beer guru that passed away. I was already the hops wouldn’t hold up, but given the active yeasts and good cellaring, it’s fine. Nevertheless, just an above-average saison.

750 mL bottle. Clear golden body. Medium white head. Smells of something savory like indian food. Someone else said celery salt, which might be a better descriptor. Oak. A little bit of vegetal acidity. Taste has lots of oak, some pale malt, bretty and earthy yeast. The flavor has some celery salt also. Medium body. This is not really anything special, but it isn't bad.
