A: A pale lemon pour is a golden sun color in the vessel filled with a feverish display of carbonation. The coloring is dense, but not milkshake thick, accompanied by a two inch off white head with a soapy and bubbly consistency. Light soapy daps of lace speckle the glass walls with a thin and spacious density.
S: A big citrus burst comes on the opening, grapefruit, lemons are very wet and enticing, tart with a moderate scent.
T: The flavor was spicy citrus, filled with juicy grapefruit, and a hint of lime. Crisp pale grains provides a nice backing, lightly dry, with some spicy semi-dry pineapple and oranges providing some fruity notes. Sugary and tart with a yeasty N.E. strain bite of peaches and mangoes.
M: Crisp mouthful, lots of carbonation, slick and syrupy texture of medium full weight lies heavily on the tongue.
O: Refreshing bright and wet, filled with a citrusy flavor and a solid grainy malt support. Spicy and bubbly, starts and ends well while holding interest. Nicely done per style, solid drinkability to the last sip. Double dry hopped but more flavor forward then dry and bitter. Surprised to this place closed right after consumption.

I don't think it was a top notch IPA but good enough
Look: semi-hazy yellow with an nice white head
Aroma: orange/tangerine juice, hint of pine
Taste: The flavor is tangerine/orange juice, mango, grapefruit, a small hint of pine resin but overall a fairly mild but juicy and refreshing IPA.
Feel: light-medium body

Picked this first on a recent trip to Craft Kitchen to review some beers. Generally a fan of Council and a NE IPA by them sounded good. Untappd description had it as a “New England IPA with Mosaic, Citra and Amarillo hops.” Sounded pretty good.
Poured a golden clear color with two fingers of frothy uneven white head when I got it. No bubbles underneath. World-class foamy spiderweb lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Got all three hops mentioned on the smell, in order Mosaic, Citra and Amarillo. Also tangerine, orange pulp and orange blossom. (Sight - 4.00)
Tasted orange juice, Amarillo, nectarine, bitter tangerine rind, some spice (probably from the Amarillo), Citra, fruit punch, mango, light Mosaic, mixed berry and red apple. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt watery finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Not really hazy or a New England IPA, but still very good. Was kind of all over the place on the ratings, but OK with where I settled. (Overall - 3.75)

If you're going to hop on the bandwagon and make a hazy IPA, like every other god damn brewery, at least make it correctly. This beer was NOT hazy.. It was slightly cloudy. Smelled like old hops. Like, an old IPA. Taste was malty and sweet. No juice at all. No tropical notes. No sweet, yeast finish. Annoying. Complete miss.
