Head pours big as heck. The head is creamy, craggy and a touch off white. The color is a hazy straw to pale gold color.
The nose is guava, confectioners sugar, caramel apples, and cotton candy. Maybe a bit of a sweeter nose than I would like.
The taste is more well rounded than the nose. There is a good bready and crackery malt profile here. A lot of sweetness here as well. Some guava and peach in there as well. A bit of bitterness at the end, as well as some orange peel, but it doesn't quite cut the sweetness as much as I'd like.
The mouthfell is fairly full bodied. Carbonation started pretty high, but died down relatively quickly. No really noticable alcohol burn.
Overall, this beer fells like kind of a sugar bomb and it is a bit messy in its execution. I think I'll be able to finish the pint, but I couldn't see myself drinking another one.

A: Pours a very hazy almost murky medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate medium golden yellow + faint burnt orange and copper colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy (almost pillowy) off-white head that slowly reduces to a couple of medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, tropical/melon, and citrus/mandarin orange hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, tropical/melon, and citrus/mandarin orange hops along with light flavors of citrus/orange rind hops which contribute a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering citrus + tropical hop flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially very slightly crisp with a light amount of fluffiness mid-body and hints of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Thanks, Chris!
Got this can from Chris, probably because I was a mule to get a bunch of his stuff to the fourth annual MW bottleshare. Thought I had tried it before, but apparently not according to Untappd. Heading in had really enjoyed Council’s sour stuff, but have not been blown away by their hazy stuff. Untappd description called it a Double Dry-Hopped N.E.-style IPA with the hops mentioned being Mandarina Bavaria, Ekuanot and Mosaic. Three pretty solid hops. Had high hopes going in.
Poured a golden semi-hazy color with two fingers of rocky off-white head. Some fast-moving bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at a few different spots. Good spotty lacing. Average retention. (Sight - 3.50)
Smelled those Mandarina Bavaria hops right away, followed by the Ekuanot and Mosaic. Also melon, caramel, toffee, mandarin orange, bubblegum, green peppers (?), bitter orange peel, floral, pine, mango and hints of butterscotch. More Mosaic, mango and guava from the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted at least as good as the nose. In order got Ekuanot, Mandarina Bavaria and Mosaic. Also caramel, toffee, mandarin orange, melon, bubblegum, orange peel, floral, pine, mango, floral, rose petals, papaya and green peppers still. Was kind of digging it. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, rather smooth finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Wow. Best hazy beer I’d tried from Council. (Overall - 4.00)
