This is a beer to drink when you are thirsty... but not one that makes me smack my lips about... or write long reviews. Bought from Tavour.

Frankly, a common lager. We expect more from crafters. But because lagers operate in such a limited range, I do not expect too much more from lagers... (unless the crafter is totally creative, like Off Color.)

I am glad to give Listermann some OA Hugs in their brewer review. They have not relied on IPAs and their cash cows are more off-beat with porters and milk stouts. But only slightly more than average Hugs as their website is cryptic. They might explain why they sell home-brew supplies also, which is unusual. But they are trying to improve a community within Cincinnatti. So that is worth some Hugs.

Clear golden yellow body. Light malt, not much in way of hop bite, but crisp and light bodied. Not much going on but not much offensive, either; I can't complain drinking this while cooking dinner. Solid.

L: Slightly oily pale yellow lager with temporary rising bubbles and a short lived head without lace of any kind. Dull.

S: Biscuity malt, light rye quality, and lemongrass.

T: Following the nose - a bit grainier.

F: Heavier weight than expected for the ABV. A little oily. Substantial but not your clean and refreshing brew for a hot day.

O: I liked it, but still not worthy of repeating for me.

Mostly clear golden body, wispy white cap that dissipates quickly. Aromas of sweet corn, crisp bready malts and earthy hops. Taste is pretty much a clone of the nose, good bitterness on the end to break up the flavor. Overall kind of skunky. Feel is very crushable: crisp, light and sneaky bready. Like the tiger king this beer sounds fun at first but ultimately leaves a bad taste in your mouth
