Had on tap. Pours clear, gold in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is big mango, wheat and sour mix. Medium body and carbonation, sweet. Nice and refreshing.

On tap at the Pickled Pig in Lake Placid, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like candied and juicy mango, with a bit of wheat, lemon, and general citrus.
This is more solid than I figured it would be. It's got a pleasant sweetness to it - feels juicy and authentic, and slightly candy-like as well (I realize that seems like an oxymoron). There's some light wheaty sweetness, a touch of lemon, etc.
There's a nice crispness to this one, with a good drinkability to it.
I enjoyed this one much more than I figured I would - simple fruited wheat beers are rarely my thing anymore.

my first beer from these guys, at least that i can remember. it seems like littler breweries are springing up all over the place up here, which is just awesome. for a long time there was not a lot of availability, especially in terms of kegs, so the more the merrier now! this is only okay though, the mango part tastes like a melted mango popsicle, not real fruit, sugary, a little concentrated, and not quite with the juicy fleshy tang of a real mango, more of a cheap near mango flavor, and its not all that subtle in this. in fact, its bold enough that i reckon the wheat beer underneath would be pretty boring without it. its just a touch too heavy to be a summer slammer, but i enjoyed one well enough with some spicy chicken wings, a fine combination indeed! there is a little haze to this, a bit of body from the wheat as well, and a sort of rugged rawness on the malt side. no hops to speak of, a relatively clean fermentation profile, just a little incomplete with the residual fruit sugar that hangs around. fine carbonation at first too, but it seems to sort of bleed out of the beer a little too fast. i wish the mango was a little more natural or else a little more in the back, but i can see the appeal of these flavors in a summer adirondack lakeside patio context...
