A: Pale lemon color has a faint wispy effervesce with a slow and steady rise. Bready and spongey surface texture, the head is generous in proportion with a strong rate of retain. Slight display of splashy leftover lacing lines the vessel walls.
S: The aroma was yeasty, dried banana chips with some fresh wheat stalk scents. Dried pear and apple estery scents. Hints of musky and dew laced grass and hay.
T: The flavor was strong banana and cloves. Backed with bready and musky wheat there was a musky fruitiness of pears and mildew apples. A lemon-honey mixture flair had some tart, dry oranges with just a hint of ginger for spicing.
M: Active and fizzy mouthful burst from the overly active carbonation. A slippery and oily texture off the tongue had a medium build and was lightly acidic.
O: Overall a strong show from the hefe-yeast makes for a strong backing here, filled with lemon-banana flavors and musky wheat and bread notes.

Had on tap at the brewery. Pours cloudy, orange gold in color with one inch head. Taste is banana, clove, wheat, and white bread. Medium body and carbonation, sweet. Wow is this good. Excellent domestic version of the style. Perfectly balanced and I am not sure if I could say that this was made American if in a line up of German hefes. This would be a go to in the fridge if I lived closer to Raquette River.
