Appearance: hazy golden yellow in color with a 2" head that fell to a thin surface covering.
Smell: light spiciness and citrus came through to the nose.
Taste: cracked pepper, lemon zest, mild fruit tones, and some earthy hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp from start to fnish.
Overall: this beer was easy to consume and had enough citrus and pepper to keep it interesting.

I'm not a big fan of saisons but this one does it for me. On tap at brewery, appearance is standard saison of pale straw color. Nice smell with the hops giving a pleasant citrus in an area where saisons have little to offer. The taste is a great mouthfeel that is creamy, soft, luscious and the hop bitterness is mellow in the background not taking away from the delicate saison. Good stuff and reasonably priced.
