A roggenbier named after the brewer's son Rye. Looks like they took their hefeweizen yeast and primarily replaced the wheat with rye. Smell and taste is burnt banana bread, clove, spice, black bread. Really has a nice banana bread character character. The strong banana esters go well with the spicy, dark rye. Medium, lush, mouthfeel.
