16 ounce can into a tulip glass. Had 2/2/21.
Pours a fairly clear, bright yellow, with a two inch plus creamy head with very good retention and lots of foamy lacing. Active carbonation. Aromas of Belgian yeast, malt, spices- most notably coriander and cloves, some black pepper, light funk. Flavors of malt, some Belgian yeast, spices- cloves stand out. A light hop bitterness and a light flavor. Smooth, a very good light to medium body, well carbonated.
Had a small pour of this a few years ago and didn’t think much of it. But, this is a well done and mostly classic rendition with the addition of more fruity hops. Could use a little heftier feel, but very enjoyable at a good price point.
