22 ounce bottle into a tulip glass.

Pours a caramel color, a little cloudy, with a small head and a small, foamy ring throughout. Smell is malt, brandy, oak, vanilla some yeast. Taste is pretty balanced early between the apple brandy and the malt, but the brandy takes a strong lead as it warms. Also caramel, yeast, light vanilla, some oak. Light to medium alcohol. Good body, could use a little more carbonation, taste lingers in the mouth.

Solid effort from IO. Had this on tap as well, and the carbonation level was a bit better. Even though the barrel aging has a strong grip, it didn't bury the base Tripel. Have one more bottle we'll let mellow a while longer.
