Appearance: black body with khaki head.
Smell: lots of coffee and bourbon.
Taste: nutty coffee and bourbon. Chocolate with a hint of cola.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied Stout. Creamy carbonation . Silky body. Slightly thin.
Overall: this is a really nice barrel aged coffee Stout. Nice bourbon notes, but slightly sharp. You taste the heaven hill barrels for sure. Coffee balances out the richness of the bourbon. Nice barrel aged coffee stout.

12 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 10/25/18, had 6/5/19. Also had on tap.
Pours a dark brown, opaque, with a half inch quickly dissipating head and some light foamy cling. Aromas of coffee, roasted malt, bourbon, chocolate, prunes, char, molasses, smoke, cocoa, raisins, some vanilla and oak, light caramel. Flavors of bourbon, coffee, roasted malt, cocoa, char, raisins, molasses, oak, chocolate, some vanilla and caramel, light smoke. Smooth, a solid full body, well carbonated.
Excellent coffee that really adds to the base beer, the Heaven Hill barrels shine. Thought this was better in the can with some age, than it was on tap on release day. Just a pleasure to sip.
