12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 6/3/22, had 8/10/22. Aged 9 months in Blanton’s bourbon barrels and 3 months in Heaven Hill rye barrels.
Pours near black and opaque, with a half inch foamy head and light foamy cling. Aromas of bourbon, oak, char, malt, some rye whiskey, vanilla, light chocolate and prunes. Mostly similar flavors of bourbon, oak, char, malt, rye whiskey, some tobacco and chocolate, light vanilla and prunes. Smooth, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.
This is excellent. Bourbon, rye and wood. Barrel forward, but the base provides a solid backbone.

12oz can
L: dark brown/near black stout; brown head fades to a thin layer of foam
S: bourbon, oak, vanilla, brown sugar, caramel, chocolate, spice, roast
T: big & boozy; bourbon, spicy rye, oak, vanilla, caramel, bread crust, brown sugar, chocolate, roasted barley, earthy/spicy hops
F: fuller body, lower carbonation, a very boozy sipper, alcohol burns the tongue and throat
O: I like my Imperial stouts to be roasty and chocolatey. This seems to drink more like a barrel aged barleywine imo
