12oz can kept refrigerated since release, poured into a tulip shows a night black, lightless, and headless, after a quick dissolve, body and leaves the glass clean behind.

Aroma includes strong bourbon notes of oak, vanilla, molasses, char, leather, and ash, with roasted malts hovering above.

Flavors match and are very much appreciated.

Mouthfeel is clean and creamy, falling just short of oily.

Overall still a great experience. Nearly 2 years after canning and I am happy to have another. My score reflects the lack of loss over time.

12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 6/3/22, had 8/22/22.

Pours near black and opaque, with a quarter inch head of darker foam and light foamy lacing. Aromas of chocolate, bourbon- more as it warms, roasted malt, oak, raisins, light char, a little leather. Flavors of bourbon, roasted malt, oak, chocolate, some vanilla, a little leather. Smooth, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.

This is excellent. Vibrant flavors and aromas, lots of roast. It’s a little barrel forward, but the base holds up well. Really enjoyable.
