Reviewed 10/25/2007 (Tap @ Redwood Lodge, Flint, MI):

Pours a very pale, almost clear, colored body, with some small bubbles, and a white head. Malty aroma, weakish. Malty, sweet taste, fizzy, good nutty taste. Refreshing. Sweet almost sugary aftertaste.

Poured a clearish yellow with minimal head. Smelled as a light beer should, nothing overbearing. Tasted slightly more wheaty than malty. It had medium-low body and definitely easy to drink. I could have a few rounds of this no problem. For a light beer, it's a good one in my book.

Sample at the brewpub: Clear golden color with a thin white head and spotty lacing. Light floral hops aroma. Light-bodied and effervescent with a nicely floral hops flavor, along with a bit of malt. The finish is crisp and mildly bitter. One of the better brewpub Light beers I have had.

A flowery, fruity hop nose is a good start to this beer when presented on tap. Otherwise, the taste is a little thin and watery, but you can still find a decent mouthfeel. A decent brewpub lager and okay as a light. (17 IBU's, according to the Lodge's sampler platter placemat).
