Appearance: Pours a straw like yellow haze with good carbonation and a nice amount of head. Head is quick and doesn't linger
Aroma: Smells of clove and banana with slight hop citrus aroma. Maybe a slight sulphur yeasty note also. Nothing unpleasant
Taste: Very much tastes of clove and mild citrus. Bananas aroma is more sedate and tends to balance with some grainy/wheat character. Clove is definitely pronounced (maybe too much)
Mouthfeel: It is slightly acidic/citrus. Maybe a little drying on the back of the tongue.
Overall: It is a good attempt in the style however it lacks any distinguishing character. It is a ho-hum Hefe.

Very cloudy appearance, deep straw color. Nice looking color, but the head was lacking. Yeasty nose with plenty of banana sweetness. Flavor was very well balanced between the sweet fruity bananas and some spicy, dryness. Plenty of pale malts, bringing a bready, yeasty flavor. Clove was definitely present, possibly some orange peel. Mouthfeel was very big and smooth, carbonation perfect for the style. A little sweeter than the German brewers, not a bad take on the style. Makes for a great summer selection.
