This beer pours a dark brownish amber color, considerably lighter than most Doppelbocks. Medium off-white head with good staying power, and decent lacing. The aroma is roasted malt, nuts and hops. Medium-bodied with a robust toasted malt character, along with a good amount of hops and some spices as well. The finish is refreshing and crisp with a nutty aftertaste. Overall this beer doesnt look like a lot of Doppelbocks but it does a good job just the same.
