At the brewery into a snifter, pours a clear copper with a reddish tint, and a good 1 finger off-white head with decent lacing. Nose is fairly good -- lots of bitter piney and earthy hops, with a hint of citra-type fruitiness (grapefruit, mango, etc). Taste is ok...not quite as interesting and not as much depth of flavor as the nose promises. Feel is a little thin, a little flat, and little light for the style...carbonation is medium to high, body is less substantial than expected.

Off white head. Lace left. Golden orange color.
Sticky and hop resiny. Very bitter. This is an extremely one dimensional dipa.

One of the better DIPA's I have had. Simcoe and Citra hopped- character really comes through. Very easy drinking.
