Right in the heart of Mainstreet . Its has a covered on the sidewalk patio to the right of entrance with table service . It looks newer from the out side but inside is old school with a bar to the right and the brewery visible . Swag and crowlers for sale with a self service popcorn machine (tasty). Had a dozen beers on tap with flights available across a broad range . The beer was above average . Very nice service a cool vibe inside lots of wood and a visible brewery they dont offer any food except some snakes .. Free parking outside or across the street in a public lot. I liked this place and would recommend and return to it.

Set in what I think is the downtown of this community, a spacious interior focused on the bar with a modest patio to boot. The beer selection had decent variety with an emphasis on simpler yet well made conceptual beers. The service was very friendly, helpful, and fast, plus they could answer questions about the beer easily. Free popcorn in the corner FTW

Located just off Mainstreet in downtown Hopkins. Street parking and nearby city lots. High ceiling with a distinctive copper dome and decorative ceiling. All brewing equipment is fully in view. L-shaped bar and about a dozen taps. Good style selection. Tables and high tops on the main floor. Two projection TVs. Selection of merch and board games. Good sound system playing MoTown. Small sidewalk patio outside. Laid back staff. For color, lots of dark wood, brushed aluminum, and black. Very welcoming space.

This place has a real friendly neighborhood vibe. Every time I have been here the crowd ranges from 20 to 70, couples, families, small groups and larger groups. Most people here probably live within 5 miles of the brewery. The beer selection is good - divided between traditional craft, sours, an obligatory milkshake IPA and then their barrel aged beers which are outstanding. A gem

The place has decent seating. A fairly large tap selection, and every Friday a special ferkin. Staff is friendly. Their parking lot is small, but there's on street parking. Good place to go.

This is a place that I have a large love/hate relationship with. The vibe is pretty fun. Inside the taproom is kind of dark, with a solid amount of seating, a popcorn machine, an N-64 and a good amount of events such as music every Friday. They do not get food trucks, but there are many restaurants near by that deliver. The beer is pretty good here, they seem to frequently change their options but at times lack variety. Here comes my biggest pet peeve and even deserves to be in its own paragraph:
Their beer ordering system is atrocious. Both times I was there, I was not allowed to walk up to the bar and order a beer. Their ordering system works through ordering a beer from servers walking around with IPads. They then pick up the beer from the bartender and bring it to the consumer. This system NEVER runs smooth when I am there. At times, the servers do not come to us in a reasonable amount of time. The servers have also screwed up our order and it always just seems slow in getting the beer after ordering. The beer and environment are really solid, they just need to change their ordering sytem.

Working in Hopkins I stop into LTD often to enjoy a nice pint while avoiding rush hour. The atmosphere is welcoming; it has character. It has much more character than any other suburban brewery I've visited, and more character than most Minneapolis breweries too. LTD is clearing a local Hopkins meeting place. Hopkins is an odd suburb in that it was originally its own, independent town with its own downtown (in which LTD is located) which was later surrounded by suburban sprawl. Its citizens know its history, and reflect it in their own interesting-relaxed-crazy way. They are the vibe of LTD's taproom; it is genuine.

The service I've received at the bar has always been prompt, and knowledgeable. They also have table service which is nice, and seems to be lacking at most Twin Cities taprooms. The beer can be hit or miss. I've tasted many more hits than misses, and the misses have been fewer and farther between in recent times. The selection style wise is quite broad with something for every kind of beer drinker.

Overall, I would highly recommend LTD to anyone craving beer in the West Metro.

Been here many times. A nice spacious taproom with different types of seating as choices. From hi-tops to sofas and recliners, to standard taproom tables. The bar has about 12 stools and they are almost always occupied. Usually a projection TV will have a sporting event on the wall. A dedicated TV for the console gamers and many casual board games to chose from if one desired. Unique serving system where everything goes through a roaming waitress (waiter) that leaves the person behind the bar to pour. For us that admire the female form the amount of attractive women working here will not go ignored. No food besides popcorn and I have never seen anyone actually bring food in although I think it is allowed. Does that say something about Hopkins eating establishments or how they feel about LTD? I do not know. The beer can vary greatly. Some are exceptionally good and some are quite poor. I generally stay away from their pale ales and sours, but they do stouts and surprisingly, lagers quite well. Their barrel-aging project has yielded some really great beers.

Has two TVs, board games and a bit loud which at times over shadows the music. Nice to see mini brewery's popping up on MN.

I like the beers and brewery attitude. Brewers are often working and approachable. Friendly and efficient staff. Some standard beers with a new beer every couple of weeks. I like the location and comfort of the taproom, which is open and spacious.

This new tap room in Hopkins, Minnesota (a Minneapolis suburb) is a great new addition to the beer landscape. Its owners and brewers display a great knowledge and passion for their various creations. Their Chocolate Milk Stout (called Night Terror) is the BEST milk stout I have ever tasted, and their Double IPA is very well-crafted and balanced. They also offer a unique beer called Sweet Dreams that is a pineapple wheat ale. Again, it is very tasty and well-balanced. The prices here are very reasonable given the quality of the product, and the staff is always accommodating and friendly. I think this small place is going to do very well, and I certainly will go again with friends in tow.
