L: deep dark brown blanketed by 1" of lacy tan foam with fair retention
S: You smell the whiskey barrel as soon as you pop the cap. First the whiskey comes across, then some barrel notes, then you start noticing the roast aromas underneath
T: layers of whiskey, fruit, dark malts, roast, bitter chocolate, vanilla, a hint of coconut, and alcohol. A light sweetness fades to bittersweet chocolate with a dash of oak tannin astringency on the finish
F: super creamy and soft with a medium full body and medium low carbonation
O: This is a big luscious beer that has you thinking, "...damn, i should have bought two or three."
