Bourbon barrel-aged version of Sloth Love Chunk, an imperial milk stout with peanuts, caramel and cacao nibs. Basically, a Snickers bar in beer form, with the additional of malt and boozy bourbon spice. I'm not sure how much the barrel treatment really adds to this, considering that the base beer was one of my first exposures to Four Father that drew my attention to them. The main issue I have with this is the chunky peanut bits in the liquid itself; I was confused about this at first, thinking they must have been pieces of the bottle wax that got into the bottle when I opened it.

A bomber with no date purchased at the late March brewery release. Pouring it in my Four Fathers pint style glass.
Look- Pours a dark oily brown leaving a small finger of light brown foam.
Smell- Fresh roasted peanuts, oak, bakers chocolate and mild bourbon.
Taste- Dark chocolate, roasted peanuts, musty oak and smooth bourbon.
Feel- Medium thick and creamy smooth with a slightly dry finish from the wood.
Overall- A really solid barrel aged stout from Valpo's best brewery in my opinion. Nutty, chocolatey and woody with a splash of bourbon makes this one to check out.
