Notes: Ocean Park Pils is our subtly-hopped, house pilsner. Super refreshing and crisp, OPP is that “go-to” beer for all occasions.

Pours a cloudy golden color. Thick billowy white head forms on the beer and lingers for a moment before dissipating. The glass is completely coated in lacing as the beer recedes and a thin layer of foam sticks around on the top of the beer.

The aroma has notes of crackery malts and some overly sweet malts with some old hops.

Taste follows the nose with sweet, past their prime malts, and old hops. There is a light mintiness to this thats interesting.

Feel is medium bodied. Bright carbonation.

I clearly got an old can ... would like to revisit with a fresh one.

I tried a 40z sampler of this beer at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some nice lace. The scent was dominated by grain and finishing hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain and yeast presence with a nice hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Canned 12/30/20.

L: Pours clear golden. Short white head quickly dissipates to a thin film. Lots of bubbles rising from the bottom. No lacing.

S: Aroma of bread and a little malt.

T: More bread up front, a bit of drying bitterness at the end.

F: Light and crispy mouthfeel; very pleasant.

O: A solid if unremarkable pilsner. The look and feel are pretty good. The aroma and taste are not bad.

Murky golden color on the pour. 1 finger fluffy white head. Retention is good.
Nose is nice bread, biscuit aroma. Tons of malt. Slightly sweet, but not too much so.
Taste, bread, biscuit, yeast flavor, but not as much as the aroma suggested. There's a crisp flavor here. Slight tart flavor going here. Not expected, but good.
The body is crisp, and good. Some carb feel. Somewhat "dry" feeling.
Tasty, and delicious

Mostly clear hay colored body, huge white head, visible carbonation. Grains, grass, and buttery malts make up a trinitarian nose, pale in nature. Taste has cereal grains up front, pale and biscuit malts but the finish is surprisingly bitter and grassy, yet bubbly and dry fizzles out. It feels like a rice krispy in a way on the finish, let down, otherwise pale and grainy. Crushable and forgettable

A: The beer is nearly crystal clear light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short bright white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass after it settled down.
S: Moderate aromas of grassy hops are present in the nose along with notes of grainy malts and hints of floral hops.
T: The taste is mostly dominated by flavors of grassy and spicy hops and has a light to moderate amount of accompanying bitterness. There are only underlying hints of biscuit and grainy malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied, clean and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This pilsner is very easy to drink and has a nice dose of aromas and flavors of hops without being overly hoppy.

16 oz. can. Pours clear golden with a big white head. Smells of toasted bread and a touch of spicy hops. Taste follows with lightly toasted bread and spicy hops. Some hints of caramel and a touch of sweetness. Back end is sharp and a little abrasive. Leaves an acidic taste. Medium bodied and heavier than I expected for a pilsner. Has a lot of deeper malt flavors I didn't expect. Not exactly a classic example, which is ok, but the finish is rough.
