This one pours a very dark black, with a small head, and no lacing.
This smells like boozy caramel, sweet and creamy chocolate, and just tons of vanilla, probably will be too much in the end.
This is definitely tasty, but it’s also overbearing, with just way too much vanilla. The sweetness blocks out most of the barrel character, which probably would be interesting, as the barrels are high quality. Thomas Handy rye barrels seem like a waste of time given how much adjunctery is poured straight into this thing.
This is thick, creamy, and not too boozy at all.
This is tasty in a vacuum, but it also feels like a waste of potential. Halve the vanilla here and you’d have a great beer, perhaps.

Viscous burnt black with a dark tannish-yellow blanket settling to a firm collar.
This absolute vanilla bomb tastes like vanilla frosted brownie with a thickness that might be suppressing some flavor. However, it does not prevent an actual BCBS-like dark fruit barrel char from adding depth before finishing semi-sticky with a little heat.
