This one pours a dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like hazelnut spread, peanut butter cups, roasty coffee, vanilla, and milk chocolate.
The adjunct work on this one is very solid, but I really wish there was more barrel to it. There's maybe a touch of caramel that could be from the bourbon? The hazelnut and coffee play really well together, and there's definitely almost a peanut butter-like flavor as well. There's some nice creaminess that masquerades as vanilla, too - maybe that's also from the barrel?
This is medium bodied, with very little booze, and a nice creamy drinkability.
This is definitely along the lines of what you expect from Florida pastry swamp juice, but I still want more barrel out of it.
