Got a 64 oz growler for $10, so it’s hard to beat that. Poured cold to a tulip glass. Color is dirty opaque brown to black, fully camouflaging the black letters of the glass. Nose is a bit ashy. Flavor is a deep malt base, with a perceived slurry of cacao nib, hit with a splash of vanilla on the front. Mouthfeel is full and chewy. 10% ABV doesn’t bite and brings a tinge of warmth. It’s everything it claims to be. Solid drink for the cold 25 degree night on the back porch.

16oz can poured into a snifter
A- pours jet black in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that reduces to leave nothing behind
S- smells of fresh roasted coffee, charred malt, chocolate and a hint of vanilla
T- rich and chocolate up front with notes of dark chocolate and mocha cream. Mid-palate brings out some earthy espresso notes, as well as dark fruit notes of fig & raisin. The finish brings out the vanilla before giving way to more rich coffee and chocolate. Lingers of more vanilla
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that continues into a silky finish

Pint can dated 5/3/2022, a weird little message says ‘Missing Minneapolis’ under the date. 10% ABV.
Pours jet black with two fingers of rich brown foam into an ‘MIA Beer Company’ snifter.
Smells of vanilla beans, espresso, dark roast malt. (The Stout is brewed with 25 pounds of Ugandan and Mexican vanilla + 25 pounds of Mostra coffee.)
Taste follows. The coffee and vanilla work harmoniously, neither taking over the senses. (The malt back accents the coffee, lactose pushes the vanilla.) Nice balance! It is a fine tasting Stout.
Feel is perfect thickness, not brownie batter, not YouHoo. ‘Rich’ is the word. Limiting the ABV to 10% no doubt made the brewer not overdo the lactose addition.
Overall, here’s a delicious drinking experience - and another fine offering from 3 Sons Brewing, who have a loyal following here in South Florida.
(And 3 Sons is the home of the Hollywood, FL, Buffalo Bills Backers. So what’s not to like!)

Bottle at share. Near black pour, a few beige bubbles make up the head. Aroma is coffee, roast malts and a hint of vanilla. Taste doesn't deviate , staying on track with the roasty and coffeee bitter vibe, and a bit of vanilla brining minor sweet notes to soften the blow.
