This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like melted ice cream, dark fruit, strawberry jam, milk chocolate, and some light roast.

This is very sweet, but it's definitely decadent and approximates a big pile of Neapolitan ice cream well. I kind of get the sweet brandy part of the double barreling, with some dark fruit and almost wine like flavors, but I don't really get any of the bourbon. Having some oak spice or even a touch of booze might have helped keep the heavy sweetness down here.

This is creamy and pretty thick, with no real booziness to it. It's a slow sipper due to the sweetness.

This is really tasty, and the adjuncts are done pretty well here. I just wish there a bit more barrel to safeguard against that sweet creaminess.

Muddy blackish-brown with a short tan head settling to a thin collar clinging at the edges where the oily liquid stains the glass brown.

Not only is the brandy influence apparent, but it's very domineering. It's actually quite hot. The whiskey oak then comes up shortly after, splintery and woody but otherwise neutral, only amplifying the booze of both barrels instead of playing well with any other components.

Speaking of which, the chocolate crops up in the middle, exhibiting a sort of artificial hot cocoa flavor, while the strawberry emerges on the exhale. It's seems nice and fruity at first, but then becomes sort of My Little Pony-ish. To be clear, we're talking the 1980s scratch n sniffs.

Kind of thin, it's got a crackly crisp carbonation and actually finishes fairly dry while warming the gut immensely.
