Blingsicle - not sure what I was expecting but not what came out of the can, The pour was very much like a pulp free orange juice, head included. Pineapple with a tang (The blood orange?) wafts fragrantly from the glass and promises a fruity flavor while dispelling any orange juice comparison.
The taste follows the nose and does not disappoint - it definitely leads with pineapple and, I think, the blood orange, but additional flavors immediately swirl in and fill your taste buds. Lots of flavor here!
The feel is so smooth, no harsh edges to be found, and this has body, very much fitting the flavors.
Excellent fruited gose, would happily drink more!

16 oz tall boy can receive courtesy of Frankenmiller. This is a collaboration Gose brewed with The Bruery. It is brewed with pineapple, blood orange and Fleur de Sel.
Once in the glass, this was an opaque, almost muddy, orange amber color. Virtually no head at all, and no lace to speak of. Thus far, it was a beer whose looks only mother could love.
Big fruit flavor, not surprisingly. It hints at an almost ice cream like quality, but I think that's just skillfulness on the part of the Brewers using the adjuncts. Lacto is conspicuous by its absence in the list of adjuncts in this beer, so it's not really a milkshake Gose, but it does give a bit of an impression that it is one.
Sweet and salty, in that order. The traditional saltiness of the style keeps things from getting cloying, something that might have otherwise happened. Gotta praise the restraint used by the brewers in making this beer, because the pineapple and blood orange could definitely be more over-the-top that it is. By using that restraint, it's made things far more drinkable. Very faint citric bitterness towards the finish.
Body is light, but with a slightly creamy mouthfeel.
Really enjoyed drinking this. I bet this would be really spectacular in the springtime. Been a while since I've had it goes up, and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Thanks, Gene!
