An Imperial French Toast Brown Ale made just the way mom used to make it, with loads of cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark brown, flat pour. Aroma brings maple first, vanilla and cinnamon following. Yes, it smells exactly like French toast. Taste is sweet, maple, then cinnamon and a little vanilla to round things out. Thank goodness they didn't over-adjunct this with coffee, etc. Pretty solid for what it it.

A: The beer is nearly black in color - only faint traces of dark brownish red are visible near the bottom of the glass when it is held up to a bright light. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down, leaving just a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of maple syrup are present in the nose along with hints of cinnamon.
T: The taste follows the smell and has initial flavors of maple syrup with additional notes of cinnamon that appear towards the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer smells and tastes like the ingredients you would sprinkle and pour over french toast.
