375 ml bottle poured into a tulip
A- A very dark brown with a small tan head.
S- Caramel, whiskey, some brandy, some cherry, figs, slightly earthy, oak, touch of leather.
T- Caramel, figs, some cherries, oak, whiskey, some brandy, toffee, slightly earthy, some leather, some bite for the 15% ABV.
M- Smooth enough for 15%, medium to full body.
O- A well done barrel aged barleywine, nose and finish are a little on the rough side but not too bad for 15% ABV. I feel like time will smooth out the rough edges.
