16oz. can into a Side Project snifter. Shared with schen9303.

Pours viscous. Thick. Basically a fruit shake float with a coarse, chunky orange head. Chunky lace too. Nose is peach ice cream, fresh peach, and some peach pit. Juicy. Beer opens overripe peach sweetness mixed with a pitt-y bitterness. More peaches and cream in the middle. Some vanilla and more peach sweetness. Lightly tart towards the end with notes of peach skin. Surprisingly clean aftertaste. Body is light to medium with moderate to ample carbonation. Prickly and foamy on the palate and goes down thick, creamy, with a messy finish but a clean aftertaste.

This is solid but a bit one dimensional. A touch too sweet when all is said and done.

Pours a very thick, dull dark orange. Huge head that overwhelmed the rim of the glass, cascading down its outer sides and pooling on the counter. This was from a slow pour of 2/3 of the contents. The head leaves a pulp on the inner sides of the glass in lieu of lacing. It looks interesting, pulp film aside.

The aroma is puréed fruit. Peach and apricot stand out. I’m also getting an indistinct citrus note. A hint of booze as well.

Slightly tart, but generally sweet fruit pulp on the tongue. Apricot, peach, nectarine in a melange. The citrus on the nose is not there on the tongue. The alcohol is imperceptible.

Very thick and slushy. Smoothie beer is no exaggeration. The sweetness makes this hard to get though on my own, as does the heavy body.

This certainly is what it proclaims to be. It’s a thick fruity drink that reads like an alcoholic smoothie. It isn’t my thing, but this one is a good example of this popular style.

Pours a cloudy orange-brown squash color with three fingers of very slow-building, similarly-tinted head. Retention is a bit too good with the big head getting in the way of my partaking.

Plum stands out most in the nose with some definite peach skin behind. Maybe some apricot, too. Smells like real fruit.

Taste follows the nose in terms of just-ripe plum, peach and apricot, skins and all. Definitely creamy. Maybe a light hint of cinnamon, too. Not too tart or sweet. Just right.

Full bodied with a creamy, chewy feel. Just enough carbonation.

Very tasty. Highly recommended for those who enjoy the style.

Pours a smoothie like drab, dark orange brown color. Thick, chunky, viscous - it looks like a fruit smoothie. Surprisingly there is actually a very nice, thick head on this one. It stood out because I *never* see any actual head, let alone head retention on these beers. So props to them for getting that right with this beer. Other than that, it is the usual kind of ugly smoothie like appearance. Aroma is fruit forward with lots of stone fruit - peach, apricot, plums - with some light tropical fruit notes, pineapple and orange.

Taste follows the nose with lightly sour fruit notes - orange, pineapple, peach, nectarine, apricot, and plums. It is very fruit forward, as you'd expect from a fruit smoothie. Mildly acidic. Feel is thick, viscous, with a certain heftiness. it is actually a remarkably feeling beer - this is the opposite of a "quaffable" beer.

Overall it is a tasty beer - I enjoyed it. And I will say ... its 90 degrees out and this beer really works better in this kind of weather.
