This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells creamy sweet goodness, with waves of toasty and sweet coconut, roasted malt, milk chocolate, cookie dough, marshmallow, and oak.
This is absolutely one of the better 3 Sons beers that I’ve had. It’s decadently sweet and sludgy, but there’s still a really prominent barrel character to this one. It’s oaky, and almost cookie dough like, with a spicy and caramelly bourbon note.
This is very thick, and very creamy, with a nice drinkability and basically no booziness.
This was really wonderful – 3 Sons feels like they should be a gimmicky brewery, but I almost always enjoy their beers.
