In line with our Nectar series, this non adjuncted stout is a breath of fresh air. Nothing to mask the delicate nuances of these beautiful barrels. When presented with the opportunity to acquire some unique Irish Whiskey barrels, we jumped on it. It’s been quite sometime since we’ve had an Irish whiskey barrel aged stout so we were excited to make this happen.

Cellared a year for St. Patrick's Day! Pitch black body, dark brown head. Aromas of whiskey, bakers chocolate, brown sugar, raisin, dark cherry skins, with dark wet oak backing. Taste is roastier with the malts, Irish whiskey barrel is large and deep with sweet and rugged tones, bakers chocolate that is a little dark than the nose, dark cherry, brown sugar, old leather and char. Feel is warm and so smooth, sticky and heavy without being syrupy at all, booze more than barrel. Slainte!
