We dedicated over 48 consecutive hours to the boil, achieving our highest Barleywine starting gravity ever. Following fermentation, we selected the finest and freshest bourbon barrels available for aging, Buffalo Trace Stagg Jr.! This beer matured in barrel for more than 25 months before being packaged. Waves of crème brûlée, dulce de leche, and English butter toffee harmonize masterfully with the over proof bourbon warmth leached from within the barrels.

Dark brown opaque body, beige cap.
Strong aromas of date, rich plum, raisin, barley, molasses, gooey caramel, toffee and bourbon barrel with the wood really emerging a lot as it warms. Taste has lush caramel, molasses and bourbon soaked plum, raisin and date, then finally tannins, barley and brown sugar. Feel is warm and has great barrel character with barley, oh so smooth malt, medium body with some lingering thickness. Really impressed, on the sweet and rich side of style spectrum. A great evening sipper

Bottle at share. Near black pour, thin ayer of beige head. Aroma stars amlty and adds notes of coconut and vanilla. Bourbon barrel really pops in the taste, boozy, sweet and smooth.
