Look - Pours a flat syrupy dark black with no head.
Smell - Bourbon, coconut, and cacao, with just a hint of coffee as well.
Taste - Interestingly, the first note I get is 'cola', but there's also strong notes of coconut, bourbon, cacao, and some light vanilla.
Feel - Flat, creamy, decent. I find the cola note in the taste a bit strange, but otherwise a solid beer.
Overall - I like this beer perhaps more than my score indicates. The reason it may be low is because the cola-like taste to me is just a bit off-putting, and I never quite got used to it (could it possibly be an overly sweet maple syrup?)

Opaque black still pour with a brown ring. Coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla supporting stout dominates, but the bourbon caramel maple barleywine underneath slowly emerges, especially in the taste. The nose only varies as the vanilla is stronger. Feel is percolated and syrupy with plenty of booze too, decently smooth though, massive body that makes you sip as there is so much going on. I get it now, kitchen sink because it has everything! As Gordon Ramsay says, "edit, edit, edit!"
