The crews at 3 Sons and Equilibrium got together and crafted this dessert-y delight by aging a rich base in Heaven Hill barrels for 20 months. Then they conditioned it on Ugandan vanilla beans, caramel, and Peruvian cacao nibs for all the flavors of a sundae!

2025 version. Decent balance of all adjuncts in the beginning, but a whole bottle brings out “too much” of a good thing. Glad to have tried it as my first 3 Sons BA stout, but one and done for me.

Look - Pours a black color with no head. Shows a dark lacing when swirled.
Smell - Has a pleasant caramel nose. I don't smell much else, but the smell is nice.
Taste - Caramel, vanilla, and bourbon.
Feel - Nicely creamy, easy drinking for 14.5%ABV, but I notice a slight bitterness or maybe a little too much bourbon flavor for my personal liking.
Overall - Not a bad stout, but below my expectations.
