Look - Pours a black color with no head. Thick lacing on the glass when swirled.
Smell - Chocolate, figs, toffee, and whiskey.
Taste - Chocolate, vanilla, fig, and whiskey.
Feel - I find this very easy drinking for a 14.5%ABV drink. Very smooth, moderately sweet, and creamy, with a pleasant aftertaste.
Overall - This is better than I was expecting. A nice barleywine!
