Notes: Clear amber body with golden highlights beneath a white head. Effervescent bubbles stream steadily upwards, bolstering the head retention which is very good. Decent lacing. The aroma is malty sweet with a bit of caramelized sugar and soft fruit. The flavor is much more fruity than the nose suggests with notes of apricot, melon, soft tangerine, a hint of sweet lemon, and underlying banana. The saison yeast lends a bit of a chalky, citrus-pith, and mineral character that helps to dry it along with a median bitterness. Impressive!
