Bottle: Poured a yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of malt notes with some residual sugar notes and faint spicy undertones. Taste is also a mix of faint residual sugar notes with some malt notes and light spicy undertones with some bread yeast ester. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable Belgian ale but lacking some cohesion between flavors.

500 ml bottle served fairly cold into a mug. Purchased from the brews while visiting in Peterborough. Advertised as 7.0% ABV on this serving.
Appearance - hazy golden color, with some honey brown hues. Some fine lacing left around the glass and plenty of carbonation.
Smell - sweet with plenty of bready and yeasty aromas. Some subtle hints at fruitiness, but mostly a clean Belgian style pale ale.
Taste - like the nose, although the flavours don't come through quite as strong as the nose does. Good flavours with some grain, subtle bitterness and a mostly sweet yeasty Belgian flavor.
Mouthfeel - well carbonated, but body is thinner than expected towards the second half of the glass.
Overall - a Belgian pale ale worth sampling fresh, but also if the distribution widens up at any time. Doesn't hold a candle to Duvel and Delirium, but reasonably good as far as Canadian standards go.

Pours hazy gold under an effervescent head that very quickly fizzles its way down to a thin film. Sweet and yeasty nose, a hint of fruit. Yeast, fruit and just a bit of alcohol to taste. Clove spice. Fairly sweet. Soft on the palate. Just a tad too sweet to drink a lot of, candylike finish. Good as a one off, though.
